Calcined Petroleum Coke is made of low hardness and high porosity of fine petroleum coke by calcined at high temperature, and crushed into powders.
High porosity is also expected to contribute to reducing hardness, break noise and fade at high temperature.
It is applicable for the various friction materials. If replacing graphite with Calcined petroleum coke in the recipe of friction material, adhesion is strengthen, wear resistance is improved and cost of friction material is decreased.
